The Assembly is the youth group at Calvary Memorial Church and it’s an awesome place! The group gets its name straight out of the book of Acts…a group of disciples, led by the Apostles who turned the world upside down!
Led by Tom and Joy Valletto, students in grades 6-12 are welcome to an atmosphere that is exciting and encouraging. There are monthly activities that include outreach, service projects, or just plain fun. But of course, the core of the group is learning how to grow in Christ. Students will become strategically grounded in the stories and doctrines of the Word of God all while being mentored in how to deal with the issues and topics of everyday life. This is a group you don’t want to miss!
We Meet 2 Times Every Week:
Sunday School— Sunday 9:15 am-10:15 am
Think you know the stories of the Bible? Think again! Sunday mornings are an exciting time. Each week, watch the story of the Bible unfold in a unique way as you get to know real people in real situations, all while figuring out what God’s plan was the whole time. Whether it’s the Old or New Testament (or even what’s in between!), there is always something new to discover.
Youth Group— Wednesday 7:00 pm- 8:30 pm
The Bible is much more than just stories. When the group meets on Wednesday nights, it’s a time to dive beyond the stories and figure out what else the Bible has to say. Whether it’s learning what the doctrines of the Bible are, practicing how to defend your faith, or coming to understand how to be an effective Christian in your family, church, and school, we all learn quickly that the Christian life is never boring!
